Using clevr.tools

By using clevr.tools (the website, its embeddable widgets and its MCP server at www.clevr.tools/mcp) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The tools are free and need no account.

What the tools are for

The calculators, converters, random tools and file tools give general information and estimates. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical or professional advice, and a loan payment, health figure or date is not a quote, a diagnosis or a promise. Check anything important with a qualified person or the official source. Each tool page says how its numbers are worked out; see how the numbers are checked.

Random picks, such as the wheel, coin, dice and Secret Santa draw, are made with your browser's or our server's secure random number generator. Do not rely on them where a mistake or a dispute could cause serious loss.

Fair use

• Do not use the site or the MCP server to break the law, to harm others, or to disrupt the service.
• Do not flood the site or the MCP server with automated requests. The MCP server limits how many requests one caller and everyone together can make; trying to get around the limits is not allowed.
• Do not try to gain access to anything that is not meant to be public, or to probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first.
• Do not present a result from a tool as endorsed by us.

Your files and data

Most tools run in your browser, and your files stay on your device. What we collect, and the few things sent to a server, are set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You remain responsible for what you enter and for having the right to use the files you process.

AI assistants and the MCP server

If you connect an AI assistant to our MCP server, the assistant sends us the inputs for a tool and we send back an answer; we keep nothing. What the assistant does with your conversation is governed by that assistant's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. The Secret Santa tool lists every pairing in the conversation, so everyone who can see the chat can see them. More on the AI assistants page.

Embedding our widgets

You may embed the widgets listed on the embed page on your own pages, free of charge, provided you keep the attribution link that comes with the snippet. We may change or remove a widget at any time.

Ownership

The site's design, text and code belong to its publisher or its licensors. Product and company names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe what a tool does. Files you process remain yours.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The site and the tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep the calculations correct and the service running, but we do not promise that either will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for any loss that comes from using, or being unable to use, the site, the tools or the MCP server. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

We may change the site, the tools or these terms. When the terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
