When to use this

You photographed six receipts for an expense report. You scanned both sides of your ID for a rental application. You have phone photos of a signed contract that needs to be emailed as one file. The common thread: you have JPG images of real-world documents, and someone needs them as a PDF.

This is different from PNG-to-PDF in practice. JPG users typically have photos and scans — images from phone cameras, flatbed scanners, or downloaded from email. The content is usually documents, receipts, forms, or ID cards rather than screenshots or design exports.

It's also the fastest way to package insurance claims, tax documents, college transcripts, or any set of scanned paperwork into the single PDF that every portal and email recipient expects.

Good to know

Existing compression stays as-is. JPGs are already compressed. Embedding them in a PDF doesn't add another round of compression or degrade quality further. The artifacts already in your JPG are preserved, not amplified.

Drag-to-reorder is critical. For multi-page documents (scanned forms, contracts, ID front/back), page order matters. Drag your images into the correct sequence before converting — it's much easier than fixing page order in a PDF editor afterward.

"Fit to Image" avoids weird borders. Phone photos are rarely standard page dimensions. Forcing them onto A4 or Letter adds uneven whitespace. "Fit to Image" creates pages matched to each photo's actual size, which looks cleaner for screen viewing.

PDF is the universal submission format. Insurance claims, tax filings, job applications, apartment rentals — virtually every online portal accepts PDF. Converting your scans to PDF before uploading saves you from format rejection errors.
